Slave D: I salute you for weighing in for the geriatric set. Being a grumpy old bastard at this point my best days are memories now. Las Vegas is giving odds on whether I'll make it to my next birthday which, technically, will arrive in less than 24 hours. You have something special. in my mid thirties after a divorce I had a relationship with someone who was over ten years younger. She was a sexual behemoth but was horrible in most other aspects of a relationship. If I had a chance to to it over I would have chosen her over instant death, aids or cancer. Other than that there is no way I would have gone down the same path twice. My current "partner" has been around for over 6 years and we are now at the "Fatal Attraction" or "Play Misty for Me" level of unlikely relationships. I guess I stopped fighting it. Enjoy what you have. Dannyboy

I wouldn't be caught dead on a toilet seat with that kind of reading material.

Watched "Clerks." I didn't watch it when it came out but a particular Mistress advised me to watch it about 15 years ago. Today I laughed so hard that my mind drifted back to the time when I first watched it. The Mistress left the scene years ago and we are periodically in touch. She has found her dream and lives it to this day. I have no regrets. Dannyboy

CO: Thank you for clearing that up for me. I am still unfamiliar with pre-social media language and highly influenced by the quality public education I received in my generation. I am too old to change. She sounds highly desirable. I have a great level of comfort with highly educated or highly intelligent women. My first wife had a voice that could shatter glass and she didn't reveal that before the marriage vows. My young lady has those 3 qualities but lacks the high intellect of my Filipina Princess whose path in life doesn't include me in the long run. I should be happy with my exotically beautiful barbie doll and enjoy what little I have in common with the Filipina who will be successful in all aspects of her life without me. Dannyboy

Forgive my ignorance - what is "AF?" Dannyboy

Ray: The kids have been watching Christmas movies but I have been avoiding them. I traditionally watch "A Christmas Story" starring Darren McGavin and hope my grandson doesn't let anyone double dog dare him to put his tongue on a lamp post in sub freezing weather. I will watch The Day the Earth Stood Still before next week. I was discussing with my young lady about my wish to watch "Play Misty for Me" with her. It seems to have several "knife" scenes in the Psycho mode and could also be seen as a prequel to "Fatal Attraction" which she has not seen. She thought "The Godfather" was excessively violent. My response: It was done tastefully except for maybe the strangulation of Luca Brasi, the shootings of Sollazo and McClusky, the machine gunning of Santino Corleone, the garroting of Carlo Rizzi by Clemenza and Moe Green getting shot through the eye while on a massage table. Except for those instances and a few killings during the baptism and, oh I forgot, the severed horse head in Woltz's bed it had relatively little violence. Still, despite my ernest efforts to convince her otherwise she held on to her opinion stubbornly. Watched the original "Mutiny on the Bounty" with Charles Laughton and Clark Gable. Excellent. I just had to watch Psycho again. It was not so difficult to watch as it was in the early 60's. It has been surpassed in horror and gore by many other films that came later in time but it always remain as a great Hitchcock thriller. Dannyboy

Perhaps the nature of our play can be confusing. When we are together our roles are interchangeable. When we are with a Mistress she does not submit to the Mistress but the 2 of them unite against me. In our vanilla life together she defers to me in most things. When I push her beyond a comfort level by behaving in a rude and crude manner she can dig in her heels and counter-attack. Dannyboy

While my young lady and I have played with BDSM together privately and with Mistresses in Dungeons it is clearly not a female-led relationship. Dannyboy

"Play Misty for Me.' Felt like Psycho times 3. Haven't seen this one in many years. I tend to get involved with that kind of woman. Dannyboy

Watched "Midnight Cowboy" with Dustin Hoffman and Jon Voight. Seems more strange than before. Dannyboy

Watched "Flower Drum Song" for the first time ever. Interesting fact: Nancy Kwan visited my ship when it was at anchor in Europe. I didn't see her when she visited as I was on liberty doing what sailors do in a foreign port. I also saw Jack Soo in this film play in a role other than Detective Nick Yamana for the first time. He was a regular in Barney Miller until he passed away. Dannyboy

Revival of a nice topic by Ms. Tran. Posts by Ms. Koi and Rey. I sessioned with all three of them. Manpeach was a regular for years. Had maybe 15 sessions with Koi who helped fill the void created by the departure of Mina Jung back then. Dannyboy

Saturday afternoon me and my young lady were on the corner of 5th Ave and 34th Street when a celebration parade crossed the intersection going south. Everyone was happy. There were also people in wheelchairs, walkers and canes in the parade. We needed to cross to the other side but she was apprehensive. Anyway I implored her to trust me and, lo and behold, like Moses parting the Red Sea a path opened up for us to get to the other side. Between the two of us we were young, old, black-Latina-native American and white. There was a feeling of emancipation all around. Dannyboy

Nervous and need the last push onto my knees
Dannyboy replied to Ffsbran's topic in Fortress Guest Forum
The advice I always give is to make that call and take that step. You will never regret it. You will find out on your own that the last push to your knees is unnecessary. When you are confronted by the beauty of a Fortress Mistress your knees will buckle by themselves. Dannyboy -
Watched "Shop of Fools" and marveled at the messages that I couldn't grasp the first time in the 60's. Dannyboy

Viewed "No Way Out" from 1950 with Richard Widmark and Sidney Poitier. Widmark was the bad guy. Dannyboy

There certainly is. Dannyboy

Finally watched "Rififi" from start to finish without interruption. I was very young when I watched it for the first time and was upset by all the violence. It was in French with English sub-titles. It seems that there was a scene of interest to S & M fans. The ex-con comes out of prison and finds that his lady was running around with another thug. He makes her remove all her clothing and whips her with a belt. Of course she was out of camera range when her panties and bra came off and only the sound effects could be heard. All those years ago it upset me. Now it upset me that the whiipping wasn't visible and not half as many lashes as I would have given her. Dannyboy

Watched "Fail Safe" which is a more serious version of "Dr. Strangelove. It reminded me of the tensions of the cold war. Dannyboy

10/10 with Mistress Lovelace and Mistress Jung

Dear Ms. Jung: Knowing how evil I am your pardon is an act of mercy. Dannyboy -
10/10 with Mistress Lovelace and Mistress Jung
Dannyboy replied to yaymond's topic in Fortress Guest Forum
Congrats on your great session. I don't consider Ms. Jung to be evil. She is my Angel of Mercy who can be Devilish. I don't know about Ms. Lovelace but perhaps someday I will find out. As I always say, the Fortress is the best place for newbies but you won't know that unless you dare to venture outside of the Fortress. Then you will know for sure. You will always be in good hands at the Fortress though. Dannyboy -
The mere mention of her name is enough to cause a yearning in my heart. Excellent choice. Dannyboy
