    I was taking a tour and part of it was to see how rice noodles were made. This was a very small family who produced them but they produced huge quantities which was surprising. Anyways, fresh rice noodles can be tied together and made into a very stingy and effective cat o nine whip! Unfortunately, it will dry out eventually and no longer work but it was fun playing around while I could. Not the best picture but hopefully you can see me swing it.

    I have had many people look at me but I'm never sure if it's a Fortress glance or the fact that I'm wearing a sheer tank top and short shorts.....I guess the sweat beading down my bra-less chest turns a few heads as well.     Was just at the Hanoi prison....some of the rooms make for a great interrogation scene. Also, they had a few of the tools used to torture prisoners....unfortunately it was very sad for me to see where some of my relatives were held during the war.

    Reporting from Vietnam: Waiting to go see the water puppet show in hanoi. I've had lots of great food and luckily haven't got sick yet. I have however been sweating like crazy!     Hello boys! I am going back to the homeland for a few weeks. Im really excited but need a little help with my phone situation. Anyone has info on using an Iphone there? I do not want to waste money on international packages from AT&T as I know its cheaper to buy a SIM card there. Also, any general advice from those who have been there is very much welcomed. I will be taking pictures, video, and hopefully finding some cool old Vietnamese torture device to bring back and use on you boys. I want to bring back snake wine but I am not sure its possible- have any of you tried it? MTran

      Yea going to see family and friends is always a lot of fun. Wish I could go back to my home country in the near future again. It's always a good thing to be in the company of your parents, cousins, aunts, and uncles. =)
