Limited Reopening for the Fortress Starting Today
Mistress Kang replied to Mistress Kang's topic in Fortress Guest Forum
Until there is some counterfeit resistant proof of vaccination, or our Fortress Players have been vaccinated, we unfortunately have to request that all guests continue to wear masks in session. We thank you for your patience and anticipate vaccine availability should improve soon enough that everyone can be protected. -
Saw this yesterday in Chinatown (it's a video). They were going into a supermarket for good fortune in the new year! Lion_Dance.mp4

Those escalators remind me of the stairway to heaven. They're closed for indoor dining right now, just outdoor dining (they built a little enclosure). I'm doing take out. Dropped off my orders this evening for pickup tomorrow at both places. Got the ice cream tonight though to save time. -

Yes! Having a Jewish Christmas tomorrow to support a handful of Chinatown spots. Dim sum from Jing Fong, dinner from Big Wong, and dessert from Chinatown Ice Cream Factory. Plus a few other dim sum dishes from a couple bakeries (don't know the names of them) that Jing Fong doesn't make. -
What's everyone doing for the holidays this year??

I love your positivity, bitchboy ? Yes, the sky is blue again!!!

Has anyone seen The One I Love on Netflix? It stars Mark Duplass, one of the creators of Room 104, and has a very similar theme- supernatural, sort of Black Mirror-ish, things happening behind closed doors. If you can still enjoy a movie after spoiler like I can, here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_One_I_Love_(film) Here's the trailer WITHOUT spoilers:

Yes, we have! Email us, TW21 ?

I'm currently watching Righteous Gemstones on HBO. Anyone seen it? Now that NYC is open to filming again, I NEED Season 3 of Succession.

Oooh! Dark looks good! It's on my list! Yes closed captions are my favorite, especially now that I've finally accepted they're not good for standup comedy shows LOL For a while I was ruining shows for myself..

Have you seen these videos of #ChineseStreetFashion? Masks even BC (before-Covid)! Music and editing emphasize the coolness.. Chinese_Street_Fashion_1.mp4 Chinese_Street_Fashion_2.mp4

The Fortress is now accepting sessions bookings from clients only. The conditions are understandably strict, but we all have to do what we can to protect each other. Please read carefully before you book. Thank you for understanding. After extensive consultation with front-line medical professionals, the Fortress has implemented a protocol that has enabled us to begin conducting limited sessions again. Nothing can be absolutely safe, but we can, by following established best practices and combining multiple evidence-based measures sourced from Asian and European best practices, greatly reduce viral load within a space and so the chance of transfer. 1. All rooms at the Fortress are now equipped with high wattage UV-C (254nm) lights. After each session, the room, handles, surfaces, and paraphernalia are cleaned with disinfectant wipes, then disinfectant sprays. Once the room is empty, it is sterilized with the UV-C lights on a timer. This light is not skin or eye-safe, do not ask to turn them on during the session, and do not attempt to do so yourself. 2. All Guests and Players must have a body temperature under 99ºF in order to enter the facility. This will be checked via FLIR (thermal) camera in the foyer, and IR thermometer in the Playroom. There are no second or third readings after you "cool off". For everyone’s safety, if you read high, there is no session. If you naturally run a temperature over that, please wait to session. 3. All Guests and Players must have a blood oxygen level (SpO2) above 94% or they will not be allowed to session. If a Player has reason to feel you are in distress, they may conduct a second SpO2 check-in session, if it drops below 94% you will be asked to leave and the remaining session fee will be refunded. If you have a medical condition that results in low blood oxygen levels, please wait to session. 4. All Guests and Players are required to wear a disposable surgical mask for the duration of the session. A mask will be supplied to you. If you wish to bring your own mask it must be well fitted, and cannot have an exhalation valve. If you cannot session with a surgical mask covering your mouth and nose properly, kindly wait to session or ask us about arranging for a Player to wear a PAPR hood (powered air-purifying respirator) for a surcharge (they have to be purchased for each separate Player and are time-consuming to sanitize). 5. If either Guests or Players have an unfavorable SpO2 reading, high temperature, remove the mask with the Player in the room or refuse to wear it, they cannot session again for 14 days. 6. We advise clients over 50 years old to please consider waiting. While the facility is being kept to the highest standards as advised by medical professionals with direct experience fighting COVID-19, even the trip to visit us represents a risk. 7. We are using a solution of hypochlorous acid and sodium hydroxide solution (EO water) as a disinfectant for all surfaces. It is proven virucide, non-toxic, eye, and skin safe- see citations below. Unfortunately, for the safety of our staff and guests, these measures are not subject to negotiation. If they are objectionable, kindly wait until US deaths have dropped below one a day and we will be delighted to welcome you back when our procedures are less stringent.
