  1. I too saw the movie- just last night. I haven't read the book but when I saw the trailer it looked like something that was a book first and sure enough that's what I found when I asked my good ol' friend Google. I have a feeling that the book might have done a better job wrapping up the ending than the movie did. Good movie but I'll never know how I'd feel about it had I not already known it was a book first. I really want to see Theory of Everything- I can see how someone can fall in love and marry him. He's brilliant, amazing and one of a kind. Plus he'd make for such a versatile cock-coaster, twat-mat, butt-doily, I could go on...
  2. Thanks! Glad you like ;-) I didn't have yellow in my rainbow pen so I substituted with orange.
  3. Been looking for a place to post this hilarious genious-ness without starting a new post and this thread was the first that seemed most appropriate- that's accurate to say ;-)
  4. Had to replace that pic with a better one, was too blurry.
  5. I am unofficially declaring this an uber mini photo journal of my Cali-venture. Yeah it IS a word, look it up (or don't). Silly. I like graph ruled composition notebooks, they are neat and precise. Instead of doodling, I find it more relaxing to sketch "blueprints" of places I know (ie: entire apartment, individual rooms, etc)- to scale, of course. When I moved into my apartment I was so excited to map it all out- new territory to define! Kept a copy (the original is saved ;-)) of it on hand on my numerous IKEA trips. Day One I was given a brief tour of most, not all, of the grounds. Day Two I was given a blank canvas, well technically *Night* Two. Paint was kept out back and it was way too dark so I was happy that I remembered to pack my cool 6-in-1 "rainbow" click-y pen, which I lost a day later (boo!). Before it disappeared and before bed that night, I drew this: It's not as precise as I'd have liked it to be but without visual access to every room it was my best estimation ;-( The "compound" is actually much bigger than that. Painted over a lot of the penned stuff a few days later but kept the colorful-blueprint in the final piece.
  6. On that McNote- How would those McNuggets flinch? Do they? WOULD they?? So perplexing, these questions.
  7. Me too! Channel 13 only because there was nothing else on for that segment (30 mins? 1 hour?). The thing he said that I remember most was "and there's a happy little tree that lives right over here...". Something like that. Happy trees living about his paintings LOL
  8. Mistress Tran is right, if you email Booking we'll send you a list of Hotels in the area ;-) [email protected]
  9. Speaking of A.R.T. Favorite quote? http://www.bobrossquotes.com/quotes.shtml
  10. Hello Wifey ;-) I read about *your* adventures at the Fortress and see that you've been um.."around the block" a few times LOL See, hubbie goes out of town for a week and wifey is busy stuffing herself with everything but turkey.
  11. MANPEACH!!!! I am DYING LAUGHING LOL So true yet so simple. SO HILARIOUS love it.
  12. Back from a short self-imposed Bikram retreat in Cali and it was pretty freakin’ awesome ;-) Ate super healthy, indulged in tons of arts and crafts (including making a colorful rope collar!), tried to learn how to rollerblade (note to self: next time wear more than just a shirt!- for safety reasons of course ;-)), met lots of interesting people at the gym and beach, and of course tons of Bikram!! Damn that plate is FULL mmm... Tried to make omelets (mushrooms, 3 colored mini bell peppers, broccoli, pepperoni) but it turned out to be..uhhm..not an omelet LOL Was going to blend a yogurt juice smoothie but ended up just giving it a good shake (pomegranate, acai, and carrot juices) and washing it down with a splash of that sweet white stuff. Yakult! It's in the pic, ya' pervs ;-) That “PBJ’s in the Sky” candid pic was a cheat day haha More pics later...MAYBE ;-)
  13. Almost everything can be linked in this world. Fei, knowing your love of foreign films, have you even seen "Benny's Video"? It's very macabre and shows how the Internet/social media places can make people feel disconnected, even "protected" in a way. The entire movie is on YT for free. There isn't much dialog but it's in German with Spanish subtitles. Me fact: I love watching (and always do watch) shows with subtitles even if it's English to English. Whenever I go to the movies, I wish so badly for subtitles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMUkrSJNcfs
  14. Do you really have a twin? REALLY?? If you do that is so weird! Twins are so strangely fascinating to me.
  15. You know, I was thinking the same thing LOL
  16. Quick search gave me this: And this: http://chinaadopttalk.com/2006/12/07/how-the-matching-room-works/
  17. More on "doggleganger" LOL Actually, I've heard of this sort of "match up" used by Chinese adoption agencies so that the adoptive parents are more likely to love and care for their new child. Let me see if I can find something about it online.
  18. Of course you didn't, but you're wondering! I'm only kidding, the internet is bad at conveying my *unique* brand of humor (I'm a little snowflake).
