Mary Gaitskill's book, Bad Behavior, has lots of erotic S&M. The film 'Secretary' is based on one of her stories. She's a wonderful writer, and the book is pretty sexy. I highly recommend it. If I ever make it in to the Fortress, I promise I will bring a copy.

There aren't many sadomasochist characters in movies and film, are there? I can only think of two off the top of my head. One is a character who briefly appeared on HBO's Six Feet Under. He dated the main woman, I forget her name. Brenda? She was turned off when he told her he was into BDSM. The other was an online critic in the HBO show Entourage. He was going to write a negative review of Vincent Chase, and to stop him, the entourage sent a few porn stars with strap-ons to stop him from running it. Neither one of them were particularly flattering depictions of submissives. Can anyone remember others?

This would be my first time visiting a dungeon. I would be excited (thrilled, really) to visit the Fetish Fortress, but I feel morally dubious about it. Part of me feels that I owe it to myself, because the idea of being submissive turns me on in such a deep way and the mistresses are all so beautiful; I feel like I should try it once. I am considering coming in for a session at the Fetish Fortress, but I feel nervous about it. If you're in a long-term relationship or married, do you think that coming into the Fortress for a session is a serous betrayal? Is it the same as cheating?
