Hey there,
I've been browsing the Fortress forums for a few months now - it's pretty cool how honest, open and accessible this place is. So thanks for that.

I've been interested in BDSM for as long as I've known about sex but I've never actually done any BDSM. I'm pretty geeky/shy and on the skinny side, and I've not got a lot of experience with girls in general to be honest. I'm also only 26.

Over the past year I've become aware that my fantasies are probably impractical to be pursued within a "normal" relationship, and I'd feel bad asking a girlfriend to do these things to me. I'm also pretty innocent in many ways so BDSM feels rather taboo. In any case I think the Fortress looks like a great place for me to start in kink.

Thanks for the responses. I have seen videos of both guys and girls being caned, and I think I like the "style" with which the girls are caned more. I find it easier to put myself in their shoes than the male subs, but I really don't think I'm into the sissy thing.

 

I think the feeling of helplessness, and of vulnerability appeals to me more than the pain. But the pain is necessary for the tops to show me that they're in control. Does that make sense?

All of this reminds me a lot of my 26-year-old self. That was a long time ago now. If I could go back and talk to my 26-year-old self, I would absolutely encourage him to accept this side of himself and explore these fantasies safely. I always hoped my sex and romance lives would just fall into place, whether the fantasies disappeared or not. I was naive.
