I spent a week in Berlin and maybe slept 4 hrs LOL. Berghain was one of the clubs that my friend and I ended up in. We went around 2 am Friday night and danced until Sunday morning. We left around 10 am and the club was still crowded! Are there any clubs like that in NYC that I don't know about??? MutualConsent Posted July 15, 2019 Report Share Posted July 15, 2019 I lived in Berlin 2010-2013. It is an idyllic place. I visited Berghain 100s of times and still return. Nothing in NYC compares. Twilo, Sound Factory Bar and clubs in the 90s did. There are amazing parties that bring the same vibe here in NYC, but the building is truly special. Very happy to hear you were ale to visit. Did you watch that video yourself? The narrator is promoting his own message and it's not a truthful history of men dressing as women. I thought the pics and some of the commentary shed light on the history, subculture - well beyond personal choice, prevalence, and practices of men dressing as women. It sure changed my understanding of Aunty Strict cartoons feminizing their disgruntled little sissy boys. I shall Locktober in July for a full week by means of reparations.
