Mistress Mina Jung Posted March 30, 2020 Report Posted March 30, 2020 (edited) Jojo Rabbit! Just watched it last night. Probably not for everyone but I really enjoyed it. Very clever humor and lots of subtleties that cracked me up! Edited April 5, 2020 by Mistress Mina Jung Quote

The last scene of the final episode came out of nowhere, a total "Oh shit!" moment. I watched the first few episodes of the first season, never finished it but I definitely have to binge it now Quote

Also-everyone is bothering me to watch Tiger King on Netflix. Looks interesting/hilarious as hayll. Omg it’s so insane ? Quote
Mistress Ivy Lovelace Posted March 30, 2020 Report Posted March 30, 2020 Kingdom on Netflix is really good!! Also when I need a good laugh I watch the comeback on hbo ? Quote
Jayman Posted March 30, 2020 Report Posted March 30, 2020 Kingdom was awesome! Like a cross between Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead. Quote
Dannyboy Posted March 31, 2020 Report Posted March 31, 2020 Settled on Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Dannyboy Quote

Big Trouble Baby Posted March 31, 2020 Report Posted March 31, 2020 Been watching the Investigative Discovery Channel and an occasional movie. The ID Channel is fascinating and addicting, but too much can be depressing. Just saw a movie called Cabin in the Woods. Kind of a throwback to the 80's college kids being killed movies with an unusual twist. Quote
Mistress Kang Posted March 31, 2020 Author Report Posted March 31, 2020 I just posted about this movie in another thread but I love it so much that it deserves a second mention. R100. I love it so much LOL Quote

Dannyboy I actually watched Life of Brian with my Mom last night (I think we both forgot about the brief nudity). I hadn't seen it in years, and now I remember why. Way more political and not really as laugh-out-loud funny as Holy Grail, but I will ALWAYS love that closing musical number. https://youtu.be/SJUhlRoBL8M Quote
JustAGuy Posted April 3, 2020 Report Posted April 3, 2020 Now binge-watching "The Crown" with my Mom. Enjoying it, and it seemed unlikely she'd want to watch "Tiger King." Quote

kevybaby Posted April 3, 2020 Report Posted April 3, 2020 "Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government! Dannyboy Posted April 4, 2020 Report Posted April 4, 2020 Saw "The Taking of Pelham 123" the original from 1974 starring Walter Matthau. Brings back memories of New York City in the last year of Mayor Linday's second term (1973.) Dannyboy Quote
JustAGuy Posted April 5, 2020 Report Posted April 5, 2020 The Rifftrax of "Rise of the Skywalker" came out last night, and I plan to watch tonight. While taking a hot bath and eating ice cream. Hmm...I wonder if I'm secretly a woman and should be watching a romcom the same way instead? Quote
