In my humble opinion it is the Mistress not the room. The room is important if there are activities that are better suited to a particular room. That you can get from booking. A Fortress Mistress will make the session exceptional no matter the room.

There are stocks (holds your neck wrists and ankles in place while on your knees), the bondage table can be used to completely mummify you, there are also bondage points all around the bondage table and at the head and wrists, same for the spanking attachment at the end (curved part).

From previous experience, Purple rooms give a worm feeling before session start, steel rooms just feel cold and remind you that you are in prision. 

Anyhow your mistress will make sure that you get worm after few stokes and you will forget about the room ?
