Guest
Leaves falling, sun fading, cool crisp days. Now that I'm past average mid-life expentancy, I find myself more reflective at this time of year. The whole life death cycle seems more clearer or even scary. Recent events seem unimportant or even not relevent. I just find myself wishing for simpler times.

Recent events seem unimportant or even not relevent. I just find myself wishing for simpler times. I must say that I envy you. I'm still wrapped up in the rat race and trying to build my business and deal with the pressures of life. I yearn for my time to reflect on the meaning of life and on what is really imporant with the short time span we have. I can't say that I'm wishing for simpler times, but simply more time to stop and look at the trees, the grass, the sunrise and sunset and the world spinning around me. whip
spockme
Mustanngt , I find your thoughts are really a person's dream to escape the harsh ness of reality. i have learned to use my association and sessions with the fortress as my escape and dreams of traanquilty. My devotion to Mistress Kang and tie ins to others really as i think about it gives me an escape to feel for her and them ,,,, which leads to an escape from reality. Dream on as the leaves fall and the wheather turns cold my miond is warmed by Kang , Minni Chan .......
Guest
Yeah, I gotta admit I'm not all that reflective, but that day i was looking inthe mirror, hair growin' out my ears, on my back, JEEZUS! like something from the muppets. Ha Ha! MustangGT, I believe you are referring to Animal? The Drummer for the band? He was a bit nutty. I assume you are that way too even though we"ve never met. I have a special place in my heart for Beeker the weird long skinny headed scientist assistant that spoke incoherently. Also I loved the crazy chef that was also incoherent that threw salad in a bowl all over the place. Now that brings back good memories. I am surprised that you feel this way during the fall. I find it to be a splendid show of fireworks that nature provides before the cold dark winter. The vibrant show of red, orange and yellow leaves are incredible. It"s a grand finale before the stark trees take over. Although I also like the bleakness of the anorexic leaf-less trees. Hang in there. There's always that silver lining; especially at the Fortress!

Yes the fortress is a bright spot can't get there as often as I'd like to though. Yes the fall is a grand finale', makes me think of an old FleetwoodMac album cover Bare Trees, stark grey sky dead bare trees then first track first side the song "Sunny Side of Heaven", what a cotradiction ha, blew my mind anyway .
